I love anything mini and when it comes to mini doughnuts, I go extra crazy for them for a few reasons:

  1. They’re super cute!
  2. They’re delicious!
  3. And you can eat more than one and not feel guilty, because they’re so tiny!

When the Mini Doughnut Factory first opened in Tampa, Florida, I was beyond excited. Before they opened a store near me it was always hard to find mini donuts. I would have to get them at carnivals or storefronts if I was lucky enough to find them and that would be probably once a year— if that. When the Mini Doughnut Factory opened, it changed my world for the better! Now I can devour all the delightful and delicious mini doughnuts whenever I want.

Apparently, everyone else had the same excitement as I did because the Mini Doughnut Factory was an instant hit! There were people lined up and out the doors for months to get a taste of their wide variety of fresh mini doughnuts.

The Mini Donut Factory has so many awesome and definitely Instagrammable flavors to choose from like the French Toast, Homer Simpson or Camp Fire. You can also create your own custom mini donuts by choosing the flavor of the doughnut itself and then you get your own choice of icing, toppings and drizzle.

My favorites by far are the Birthday Cake and Cotton Candy, not only for their taste but for you Instagram feed too!

You can get Birthday Cake with vanilla or chocolate cake (both are excellent) and the buttercream icing on top is to die for. The icing is whipped up so nicely that it just melts right in your mouth. Plus it doesn’t taste too sweet either like most icing, which usually taste like you just ate a spoonful of sugar. Cotton Candy is definitely a lot sweeter that the Birthday Cake, but I love the fun part at the end when the pop candies start popping in your mouth. Definitely brings back memories from my childhood when I used to eat Pop Rocks all the time.

The prices are pretty reasonable too which is another thing I love about this place. You can get a 3-pack for $2.25 or a 6-pack for $4.50. They also have bigger packs of 16, 25 and 35 ranging from $11.65 a box to $24.95 a box. I usually get the 6-pack so I can have 3 for the day and the rest for the next day. If you’re gluten-free, you’re in luck because they also offer gluten-free doughnuts at regular size for $1.85 each. Other items to satisfy that sweet tooth include doughnut shakes, doughnut sundaes, smoothies, tea and coffee.

If you’re a fellow mini donut lover and looking to crave that sweet tooth of yours, the Mini Doughnut Factory is the place to go!
