It’s National Burger Day on April 28 and that leaves us hangry for a juicy burger. We could all head out to In-N-Out or Shake Shack, but what we really want are these memorable burger joints from our favorite films and TV shows to be real.

We can only wish, here are our top 20 favorite fictional burger joints to help you get through National Burger Day!

1. Good Burger – All That

 

To start the list, we obviously have to the iconic 90’s movie Good Burger. Ya know, home of the “Good Burger.”

2. Bob’s Burgers

 

Believe it or not, Bob’s Burgers has been on the air for 7 years already. The burger shop antics of Bob, Linda, Tina, Gene, and Louise have made an impact in modern pop culture in memes and make us crave a burger even though they don’t seem like the best in town.

3. Kahuna Burger – Pulp Fiction

 

The Big Kahuna Burger is a fun Easter egg throughout Quentin Tarantino’s films Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and Four Rooms.

4. The Krusty Krab – SpongeBob

 

The Krusty Krab is definitely worth all the hoopla for us 90’s and 00’s kids. If you were a kid at that time, we will bet you know about this burger joint under the sea.

5. Krusty Burger – Simpsons

 

The Krusty Burger has been featured in numerous episodes of The Simpsons and in The Simpsons Movie. The producers at Fox even have a whole character, Krusty the Clown, as their mascot and even have a whole theme park, Krustyland, based on the fictional burger joint.

6. Burger World – Beavis and Butthead

 

This iconic scene from Burger World in Beavis and Butthead always made us wonder what their burgers taste like. We bet it’s a budget McDonalds and that’s saying something!

7. Paunch Burger – Parks & Rec

 

Leslie Knope always went head to head with the super fat and sugar-filled Paunch Burger but is it really as bad as they make it out to be. We may never know!

8. Frosty Palace Diner- Grease

 

Nothing says going to high school in the 50’s like going to a diner for a burger, a milkshake, and some tunes on the jukebox. What a time to be alive and to have a hoppin’ spot for burgers.

9. Dante’s Burger – Dumb & Dumber

 

Dante’s Inferno: home to the “hottest food east of the Mississippi.” Some can’t handle the spice — literally.

10. Fatso Burger – That 70’s Show

 

The memorable local fast food joint for the That 70’s Show gang. Can we see a resemblance with Burger King or is that just us?

11. Mr. Smiley’s – American Beauty

 

You can’t have a memorable burger list without this dramatic scene from American Beauty where Kevin Spacey’s character hears his wife order while she’s fooling around in the car with another man! *GASP*

Riverdale is fairly new to the TV scene, but it’s based on the old Archie comics and we finally get to see Pop’s diner come to life.

This dynamic dining duo had to take on burgers at least once and some gaint juicy ones like these!

There are so many logistical questions with Spongebob’s “Pretty Patties.” Are they colored with food dye? Are the different colors different flavors? WILL THEY CHANGE THE COLOR OF MY POOP?

16. Shore Shack – Rocket Power

90’s kids, don’t lie you wish Ocean Shores, California was real. At least we have Santa Monica that is comparable… right?

17. McSpanky’s – Jimmy Neutron

 

Did anyone else ever wonder why Jimmy Neutron had a job at such a young age? We get it he was a kid genius, but what happened to labor laws?!

18. Luke’s Diner – Gilmore Girls

 

Haven’t we all wondered what it would be like to hang out at Luke’s Diner and have a burger? Or is that just us?

19. Honker Burger – Doug

 

Honkey Burger plays a pivotal role in the 90’s tv show Doug and has been loosely based on the California fast-food chain In-N-Out.

20. McBurger Town – Family Guy

 

Family Guy’s comedic take on McDonald’s and has been featured in multiple episodes such as the one above where Stewie gets a part-time job.
