We will get nothing but amazing performances from Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa, BTS, John Legend and from the host Kelly Clarkson. But here are the nitty-gritty details of what we really want and can expect from these phenomenal artists.

We can expect Ariana will perform a mashup of her hits, but hopefully, she adds in snippets from her new album “Sweetener” that drops July 20, 2018. For Camila’s performance we are up in the air but whatever she does it’ll be spectacular. Camila has made transformative moves through multiple genres. After her separation with pop group Fifth Harmony she has dipped her toes in the electronic scene with Major Lazer and Travis Scott in “Know Better (feat. Quavo)” and goes back to her Cuban roots in “Havana” and her collaboration with Pitbull and J Balvin in “Hey Ma.” We can only hope for a fiery performance of “I Know What You Did Last Summer” from Camila and Shawn Mendes.

Dua Lipa — girl we love you and your quick rise to fame! Obviously, we can only expect nothing short of a dazzling performance of her hits “New Rules”, “IDGAF”, and we wish for an appearance from Calvin Harris on their dance track “One Kiss.”

Not only has BTS been the first K-Pop group to perform at the BBMAs, but Billboard has announced that they will be premiering their newest single to the world on live TV. They are up for Top Social Artist and rightfully so because their A.R.M.Y is fierce!

John Legend has been a recent addition to the star-studded list of performers, we can expect him to slow down the show from back to back high energy performances and hit us in our feels with “ All of Me” or “You & I (Nobody In The World).” Then slowly bring us back up with “Love Me Now.” Of course, we can expect a performance from the host herself, Kelly Clarkson. It’s obligatory for the host that are artists to perform.

Lastly, what we really want to see at the 2018 BBMA’s is a tribute to Avicii, Tim Bergling, and even in is passing we want him to be awarded the BBMA for best dance/electronic album. Late producer acknowledged the nomination on Twitter:
